Active and Maintained Trail Make Dallas Stand Apart

The Loop Dallas will unite the nation’s 9th largest city with a city-wide bike and pedestrian active transportation system joining 39 miles of existing trails in Dallas with 11 miles of newly built trails. A catalyst for economic and physical mobility, The Loop Dallas will be a lifeline between communities—connecting people to public transportation, walkable green space and one another.

The Loop Dallas (formerly known as the Circuit Trail Conservancy) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that supports proposed City of Dallas bond funding for additional trail beautification, maintenance, security lights and cameras. The organization works with “Friends of” groups to grow their capacity so they can enrich trail experiences with seasonal, evolving landscapes and dynamic community programming.
