Over a decade ago, the City of Dallas adopted a city-wide master trail plan to link community neighborhoods to transportation hubs and economic centers. The Circuit Trail Conservancy (the non-profit behind The Loop Dallas) identified key projects that would be the most difficult to complete due to geological challenges and existing infrastructure.
These projects are so much more than laying concrete, they require engineering and landscape design as well as partnership and negotiation with current land owners. The construction teams building these projects are specialized and work alongside the engineering and design firms to deliver safe, durable and accessible trails, bridges and connections. We’re so excited to see these projects come to life and re-shape the way Dallas moves!
