Grab a bite to eat at Mockingbird Station, then hit the trail and visit the Splash Pad at Ridgewood Park to cool off! The University Crossing and Ridgewood Trails are around 3 miles in combined length and they’ll take you from Glencoe Park all the way to the SoPac Trail. Along this route you’ll find some pretty murals, opportunities to shop and dine at Mockingbird Station and SMU’s East Campus area and two parks (Glencoe and Ridgewood).
You’ll find parking and restrooms at Glencoe Park which sits at the beginning of the University Crossing Trail and at Ridgewood Park leading you onto the Ridgewood Trail.
At one end, these trails connect to The Katy Trail allowing you access to Uptown and at the other end they connect to the SoPac Trail which will take you all the way to White Rock Lake!
Let us know how you use these routes and until then, Happy Trails!
